Komen for the Cure will be holding it’s annual Breast Cancer Survivor’s Luncheon July 13th at the American Rose Center. If you or someone you know would like to attend the Susan G. Did you know that Susan G. Komen has been in Northwest Louisiana since 1994. Through events like our Race for the Cure, survivor luncheon, and numerous third party fundraisers and partnerships,  we are able to financially support breast health programs in all ten parishes in Northwest Louisiana. It is our mission and our promise to put an end to breast cancer. The Northwest Louisiana affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is partnering with a variety of local businesses, churches, organizations, schools, and health care facilities in your communities to help spread the word on the importance of breast health. Did you know that it cost 125$ for a mammogram. One annual mammogram could save a life. Did you know that if you find a lump in your annual mammogram and not by accident, that your survival rate increases drastically. Education, screening, early detection, and action.
